So, after 2 years of tinkering with the idea of starting a blog, it’s finally a reality. I am so happy that I get to share this.

You only get one launch so here we go…

*The Financial High* is a personal finance blog and a baby of mine that is aimed at educating, advising in a manner as entertaining as possible for the young demographic.

So we are not claiming to be experts at anything, but I can confidently say we do know our stuff, everything here is from personal experiences, and all advice has been researched and tested.

What most people don’t know is that in your early adulthood more than any other point in your life, the financial decisions that are made have the highest impact on your lifelong financial health.

As much as we want to ignore it, most educational systems do not get in to the nitty gritty of life lessons more particularly financial lessons. Really thinking about it, back in school the basics were in how to write a cheque, as useful as that is, it is the least of things everyone should know; how loans work, insurance, mortgages, saving, investing, how to handle debt, budgeting, just to name a few, those are necessities.

Lack of knowledge is deep and widespread and has brought about drastic implications on society. Financial knowledge does not just stop with the “what is”, but the how, when and whys.

Each new post will be randomly made on 3 different fields.

  • Money references; here we’re going to talk about real life money issues, skills, with a twist, learning the basics with the most random pop culture references ever. It’ll be a laugh and learn sort of thing. “How Game of Thrones taught me to invest” or “The similarities between Harry Potter and …” well you get the point.

  • Student Advice: Now these will just be a bunch of short summaries of things we semi adults wish we had learnt while we were students. It's better to have the knowledge now than to have to figure it out like we did ☹. Don’t worry, if you've passed this stage a little more knowledge never hurt no one.

  • Financial advice for your teens and 20's: A little series where we give the best advice on how to make, save and invest money. If you’re up for some big time investing, we have a team of financial analysts that could even help take your knowledge to your pocket.

We promise to never spam and to always keep it short and sweet. Sooo what are you waiting for, become a memebe join our mailing list, be part of the family and stay up to date on all our workings.
